Welcome to the official site of Jason Knight, ECW’s First EXTREME Era Television Heavyweight Champion. As the first extreme era television heavyweight champion of ECW, Jason has made a significant impact in the wrestling world. He is not only known for his charisma as THE SEXIEST MAN ON EARTH and athleticism but also for his dedication to the sport, having trained numerous successful wrestlers over the years, including Mercedes Martinez & Velvet Sky.

In WCW & WWF prior to his 8 year run with ECW, Jason has shared the ring with legends such as Ric Flair, Sid Vicious, Lex Lugar, Vader, Michael Hayes, Mean Mark (Undertaker) to name a few from his earlier days.

Jason was born Ronald Knight Georgi and grew up in Novi Sad Serbia before coming to the United States in 1977. He began martial arts at the age of 6 in London and began his wrestling training at the age of 14 in Serbia. He began professional wrestling training with Hall Of Famer Johnny Rodz and International Wrestling sensation Bobby Boldeagle at the world famous Gleason Gym in New York upon his return to the United States after his military service in Yugoslavia.

Jason also trained in bodybuilding with the legendary bodybuilder Flavio Baccianini and has worked as a personal fitness trainer since the mid 1980s

After his run with ECW Jason moved to Connecticut in 2000 and opened HOUSE OF PAIN, his first of many successful pro wrestling dojos. It was at this time he established ACW Assault Championship Wrestling. ACW was a pioneer of its time being one of the first INDY promotions to televise their shows under the name DIRECT HIT TV. The roster was stellar and included many of Jason’s ECW alumni.

Jason left the wrestling business for over a decade. After being asked to participate in a disaster INDY show in New Jersey, Jason was appalled and shocked at how bad his beloved profession had fallen. It was then he decided to return to the ring, reopen ACW and open the doors of a new school to train the next generation of wrestlers. In May of 2025 filming resumed for the next wave of DIRECT HIT TV which will air later this summer on ACW’s Official YouTube Channel which is free to subscribe

With an impressive career spanning over 40+ years, Jason Knight opened the Impact Central Pro Wrestling Dojo at 319 W Landis Ave Unit #3 in Vineland, New Jersey, to further his mission of nurturing the next generation of wrestlers. Jason has kept his pricing the same as it was 20 years ago making it affordable at as low as $60 per week ($40 for 14-17)
